Nakibuule Sarah founded SwiftSan Hygienic Solutions, makers of ChooMaster: a latrine waste decomposer to control build up in pit latrines in Uganda.

The Project

I was tasked with building a digital presence for SwiftSan Hygienic Solutions, to establish their brand online and grow their client, donor and partnership base. I built their website, took photos of them and the products, established clear branding, and filmed a short story of impact video.

Challenges

• Working in rural Uganda, I had limited resources and the SwiftSan team only had a very small budget. 

• For the video, I had the dual purpose of meeting the needs of Youth Challenge International, who had awarded grants to SwiftSan’s founder to establish the company.

Results

• Established 5 new school partnerships for SwiftSan Hygienic Solutions

• SwiftSan received another grant from Youth Challenge International

• SwiftSan had the required materials to apply for future grants
